Until mid-2011 Wildfolk was a ‘focus’ and booking agent for a group of talented and experienced musicians in Yorkshire who collectively (though not all at the same time!) performed as the Wildfolk Ceilidh Band and the Compact Ceilidh Band. Unfortunately, on moving to the Scottish Borders it became obvious that it wasn’t practical to run an agency for musicians based so far away, so Wildfolk no longer exists as a business.
To book a ceilidh in Yorkshire, we suggest that you contact Gina le Faux (gina@ginalefaux.com), an excellent musician who may be able to supply a Ceilidh Band.
